The Canadian Experience Class is an immigration program for skilled workers who lived in Canada on a study or work permit and want to stay. The program offers them to become permanent residents for a few criteria linked to successful integration.

1 year of skilled work experience in Canada under temporary resident status with authorization to work, in the last 3 years before you apply.

Education : Even though there is no education requirement for the Federal Skilled Trades Program, if you studied in a foreign country and you want to improve your chances to get an invitation to the program, you can get points if you request an Educational Credential Assesment (ECA) and this shows that your education is equal to a completed certificate, diploma or degree from a Canadian High School or Post- secondary institution
